Options :: Hints

These settings allow you to turn on / off hints and messages in some windows.

Show hints

If specific window is empty (e.g. there are no tracks to display) and this setting is checked, hint are displayed. Hints for the following windows can be configured:

• Playlists windows - any playlist window and music commander
• Music board and music sphere
• Lyrics failure messages and hints in lyrics window

Default: true for all switches

Show messages

The following messages in main window can be configured:

• Success messages - for example when deleting or copying of track was successful.
• Failure messages - for example when radio cannot be copied or if track cannot be copied to database, etc.

Default: true for both types of messages

Show help buttons in complex windows

When this setting is checked, "Help" button is present in some windows which are not immediately trivial. Nonetheless, you can always press F1 and context sensitive help is displayed for each window.

Default: true

Show separate taskbar icons for additional windows

When this setting is checked and you open e.g. "Database" window, it will be shown in separated taskbar item.
